Foundation of Avitech AG

 Avitech is pleased to announce that Avitech Aviation Management GmbH has been restructured and is now known as Avitech AG.

Avitech AG is now a non listed stock corporation incorporated in Germany whose shares are not traded publicly. It continues to operate out of the same principles in Friedrichshafen, Germany and jointly owned by employees and an outside investor.

The Avitech AG maintains all the core competencies of the old company and will continue to serve existing and future contract commitments in business areas as listed:

  • Aeronautical Information System (AIS)
  • Aeronautical Fixed Telecommunication Network (AFTN)
  • Aeronautical Message Handling System and Gateway (AMHS)
  • Common ICAO Data Interchange Network (CIDIN)
  • AFTN Station and AMHS User Agent
  • Computer Oriented Metering, Planning and Advisory System (COMPAS)
  • Integrated Tower (WIAS, GAIS, TIMS, ITAS)
  • Data networks (LAN, WAN)

Avitech AG owns the following Intellectual Property rights of Avitech Aviation Management Technologies GmbH:

  • The Avitech name and logo
  • All Licences, Software rights and software ownership
  • All Source codes
  • All customer relationships, goodwill and related documentation
  • All existing and proposed new contracts

All services provided to the customers will be met without any interruption whatsoever. The number one priority of Avitech AG is to continue to provide the products, service and support that the customers have come to expect from Avitech.

The management and employees are committed to provide this and continue the Avitech tradition of 40 years of successful design, development and implementation of systems for the Aviation market based on the core competencies listed above.
