System Access Requirements

Access to Sm@ll.AIS maximises service functionality at low operational cost. The minimum PC requirements are:

• Pentium 1 or greater
• Modem
• Internet Service Provider or access to PSTN
• Browser, e.g. Microsoft IE5, Netscape Communicator

Conformance Statement

Sm@ll.AIS is designed to assist the implementation of the ICAO Annex 15 recommendation of an automated preflight information system to aeronautical meteorological information. Sm@ll.AIS provides a harmonised, common point of access by operations personnel including flight crew members and any other aeronautical personnel concerned. The implementation of the requirements of the Eurocontrol Integrated Briefing Project of the AIS AHEAD Program is supported as well.
